STAR

Sequoia’s Site Tracking And Reporting (STAR) system tracks and reports on the deployment of sites and can be easily modified to implement changes in Sequoia’s or its clients’ work processes. Sequoia has designed STAR to match the site deployment process, to be readily customized to fulfill the needs of its clients, and to be accessible anywhere through the internet.

  1. Multi-Party Collaboration is provided by allowing multiple team members to access and update information so each party can properly record, manage, and measure their progress on each site. When team members access the system, the information they can view and edit is restricted.
  2. Milestone-Based Scheduling is used to track, forecast, and measure the progress on sites. Forecast dates for milestones are set early in the schedule for each site to allow for deployment to be measured against a site-specific schedule instead of using a “standard” average schedule. Forecast dates for subsequent milestones are adjusted by entering actual dates for required predecessor milestones to accurately predict the completion of sites.
  3. Reporting is provided through standard, milestone status reports and charts. Users can also set up customized reports and charts to show which milestones, sites, or other data are of personal importance to them.
  4. Site-Specific Data is collected and stored for use in reports about deployment performance, to measure durations for approval by jurisdictions or site type, and can be used to set future schedules. User-defined fields can be added if it is decided that certain nonstandard information needs to be collected.
Project managers can use STAR to continually track the progress of each site and employee’s work to help assure that Sequoia’s clients receive the best possible sites.
